This elongated teardrop shape has been the foundation of a few classic designs over the years, with this small series utilizing a few different approaches to multiple firings, three types of enamel, painting techniques, and stencils to create a range of beautiful stained glass effects.

I only have a few pairs of these in stock, so it seemed like the perfect time for a little end of the year sale. I think I’ll be revisiting these style in the future, but not quite sure when…

1.5” long, shown with sterling silver ear wires (additional choices at checkout).

All these pairs are READY TO SHIP.

*Overcast gray is a tough transparent color to photograph—it has an earthy slate or gunmetal look to it, but with the right light, it has elements of lavender, pale blue, and burgundy to it, almost reminiscent of a the opalescence of a moonstone or labradorite.

*Chartreuse lime has a small firing imperfection on the earring on the right—a small black speck from a weird kiln firing phenomenon.

*White diamonds pair is a single layer of white enamel over plain copper. The copper has a slight heat patina (range of copper colors and some hints of gray/blue. The back is also bare copper.

*Amethyst diamonds has a rich purple that creates a beautiful warm mahogany when fired over bare copper background

*Antique lace pairs are very similar colors—both have a warm maple, honey color when fired over bare copper—lilac shows this color just subtly over the pattern, while hazel displays a golden brown color throughout.

*Emerald and apricot pairs are a variation on this stained glass theme with hand-painted base layers. The quick, loose enamel painting is always a fun diversion after a long studio day of more precise work!
