Imagined places earrings
Two imagined places made on fragments of scrap copper.
From the ARTIFACT series.
Both pairs utilize thin-gauge, lightweight roofing copper, roll printed and embossed to create a textured sky. Both asymmetrical, one features charcoal black structure and a pale blue sky, the other features a magenta red sky and dark blue structures, with white fog rising between them.
Black structure pair measures 1.75” at the longest point, blue structure pair measures about 1” long.
Backs are counter-enameled with a warm and variegated terra cotta-toned clear similar to the glistening background color on the front.
