Kestrel earrings
One of my favorite memories of visiting my grandparents in upstate New York was spending time in the sun room. With windows on three sides, it looked out across the pond and into the rolling hills across the gravel road, perfect for watching for deer and the very occasional bear, but more often, watching the birdfeeder and reading all of the pages of the Audubon Field Guide. My favorite bird from that paperback was the colorful-looking American Kestrel, despite being not native to Hornell, and only seeing one in person years later in Oregon.
These bird earrings can represent whatever species you might call your favorite bird. I’ve chosen the kestrel to represent them as these are the smallest of my trio of bird offerings.
1” wingspan (width). From beak to tail (width), they also measure 1”.
Shown with sterling silver ear wires—these earrings need a slightly larger loop so as to hang correctly, and this style comes with a small silver sphere on the ear wire.
Backs are huffalo stamped and counter-enameled with a variegated clear enamel that ranges from terra cotta to pink and oxidized green and black.
All pairs shown are ON HAND and READY TO SHIP.
