Scavenger -- necklace
Scrap copper reimagined into an abstract landscape. I loved the subtle patina of the copper so much that I decided to leave it un-enameled. Some darker oxidation in the center of side 1 with a few stamped slashes. The copper in the low spots has a matte terra cotta red color to it while the raised lines have a hand brushed shine to them. The etching process makes some lovely subtle wavy lines in the background as well.
Pendant measures 2.5” wide x 1.25” at the tallest point, 22” vintage brass chain with brass findings. Because the chain is so long, I went sans clasp on this one since it can theoretically fit over your head. Leave me a message at checkout if you’d like me to add a clasp and I’m happy to do so.
