Peaks & valleys -- necklace
Five enameled ovals joined together to create a hazy blue-sky landscape.
Red brass chain and copper findings, 18” in length but could be attached to the chain links to create a shorter length. Copper pieces are about 3/4” wide and 1-1.25” long—pretty sure these started as vintage (pure copper) pennies that were rolled and hammered into these irregular shapes.
I spent five weird years as a limo driver, (yes, there were famous people), but oddly I did a lot of distance drives to other cities. I spent a lot of this time not sleeping regularly, working weird swinging schedules and being semi-on-call quite a lot, and a lot of time gazing out at the landscape as it passed by, one of a handful of constants through that period. The imagery on this necklace and so many of the lines I create are reflections of this period.
One of a kind, READY TO SHIP.
